A holiday home conceived as a single horizontal gesture, the pavilion sits low on the foreshore and reads as a quiet line against the mountains beyond.
Charred cedar cladding wraps a tightly insulated envelope. Inside, a long timber-lined corridor connects three bedrooms to an open living space that faces the water through an uninterrupted glazed wall.
Detailing is restrained throughout — flush thresholds, recessed hardware, hidden services — letting materials and light do the work.
